Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StoreStack Loyalty platform — including the mobile application, the web app, the store-owner admin dashboard, and any related social-posting features (together, the "Service") — operated by OMAR KHANS BUTCHERY (PTY) LTD (registration 2018/608355/07, trading as Khan's Butchery & MexiKhano's — hereafter "we", "us", "StoreStack").
By creating an account, installing the app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
StoreStack is a multi-tenant, white-label loyalty and marketing platform for independent South African retailers (for example butcheries, takeaways and optometrists). It lets a participating store run its own loyalty programme — points, visits, spend tracking, rewards and grand-prize draws — and lets the store's customers track their progress. Each store is a separate tenant and only ever sees its own customers' data.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- The loyalty programme is intended for customers aged 18 or older.
- You are responsible for keeping your account PIN confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information (name and mobile number) and to keep it up to date.
- Store-owner (admin) accounts are issued only to verified business owners and may be suspended for misuse.
3. Social-posting feature (store owners)
Store owners may optionally connect their own social-media accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) to StoreStack in order to share their own promotions and specials. If you connect a social account, you agree that:
- You connect only accounts that you own or are authorised to manage, and you remain bound by each platform's own terms (including the TikTok Developer and Community Guidelines, and Meta's Platform Terms).
- StoreStack publishes content to a connected account only when you, the owner, explicitly approve that specific post. Nothing is auto-posted without your per-post approval.
- You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish, including ensuring it is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
- You may disconnect any social account at any time, which immediately stops StoreStack from posting to it.
- StoreStack acts only as a tool to publish content you have created and approved; it does not endorse or take responsibility for the content of your posts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to game the loyalty system (for example, fake sign-ups, duplicate or manipulated receipts, or false claims).
- Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data.
- Publish, via the social-posting feature, any content that is illegal, hateful, deceptive, or that infringes another party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.
5. Rewards
Points, rewards, and prize-draw entries have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be adjusted or expired in line with each store's published programme rules. Participating stores are responsible for honouring the rewards they configure.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information in compliance with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
7. Intellectual property
The StoreStack platform, software, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. Each participating store retains ownership of its own brand, logo and content. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the platform itself without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
